Hello Nyngan….. {Nyngan, NSW Photographer}

Hello friends, it’s been such a long time and if you really knew me you’d know I’ve missed this side of things. Writing is one of those things that seems to awaken something in me, from my high school years and although my blogging is usually pretty short and straight to point there are times i wish time allowed for more….. there are also times i ramble on a little too much and i delete everything i just wrote and convince myself no one wants to read long wordy blogs anyway but lets just agree that I’ve missed this little ol’ blog 🙂

First things first, id like to make it official, our little family have uprooted and left the beautiful people and town of Mt Isa in sunny Queensland and we have settled (i use the term loosely as there are still boxes and junk everywhere) in the lovely little town of Nyngan, NSW.
This part of the country isn’t too unfamiliar to us having lived in Cobar about 9 years ago but the downsizing in towns will definitely take a little bit of adjustment. The kids and husband are happily settled into school  and work and i’m slowly coming out of the fog that comes with moving not only a home and a family but also a business and i’ll start to venture out into this new place we now call home. People have been very friendly and i look forward to meeting many more new faces here and in the surrounding properties and maybe even other towns, after all it’s a small world right? 🙂

For now I leave you with this little fella who came to welcome me yesterday through the makeshift curtains as I sat here tidying my office….. he literally knocked his little beak in the window a few times to grab my attention and i just managed to grab my camera and take a quick (and very ill composed) snap but even today i can hear him singing outside .

To me he heralds a new season, with new opportunities awaiting us.
