Friendly Faces Plus a Boy and His Spoon…{Mt Isa Family & Children’s Photography}

The first time i met Sharon was through a few scrapbooking classes i ran in town, (Sharon probably doesn’t realize this but) I was super nervous as i had only taught one on one before but one friendly face put me at ease and through lots of laughs and chatting and many a cup of tea we sometimes got our pages done… fast forward to today and that same friendly face that made it easier for me to get to know a few other Mt Isa faces is leaving our town 🙁

So on one typical Mt Isa afternoon in January, where the sky is covered in clouds (just how Sharon loves it 😉 ) the humidity is just bearable (and we won’t talk about the heat) we set out to capture this friendly family before they say goodbye to their home of many years and go and make many more friends way down south…

Victoria, we introduce to you The Schmidt Family…

Sharon you and your girls are beautiful!

The boys in your family are pretty special too but i have to explain the spoon… Ben just loved it. Simple, it was his very special piece of something shiny that made him happy… and that made me one very happy lady because this little guy was on top of the world as long as he had his spoon ^_^

Notice it there on his shirt? No that is not a pocket but a special spoon holder, here’s a closer look…
